« on: May 24, 2018, 07:00:30 pm »

Great info.  ;)

I very recently got into diy and I was blown away by how all the different micas and sericites can have the same incl (correct me if I'm wrong). But just out of curiosity, I've noticed a lot of eye shadows that have mica and carnauba wax. Since I can't see an indie formulator mixing straight wax into a powder, am I correct in saying that it's a surface treated mica? If so, wouldnt the wax be an extremely small proportion of the formula? I'm quite curious how much of treated mica's are the "treatment" ingredients. It you don't want answer that's totally fine, I just feel like a kid who graduated from Lego's to power tools x]

You can try to spray until the little tube is emptied. Sometimes only the fragrance in the tube has turned and the rest is still good.
It can't be restored :(

Makeup Beauty Skincare / Re: Have You Heard Of Argan Oil?
« on: May 23, 2018, 05:53:33 pm »
I use the Moroccan oil everyday just got it recently am in love with it, I think they would be very similar. I need it as I have long hair and can't comb through it well otherwise. They are expensive but a little goes a long way. It's like a serum so you only use a pea size amount and my bottle lasts at least a year if not longer!! I used to use serums allot and this stuff is way way better!!:)

I think I would choose

Narciso Rodriguez Narciso Rodriguez For Her L'Absolu & Chanel Chance Eau Tendre
the same as you  ;D

Well, for starters certain designers are notorious for it. For instanc, Beloved Dior? Buy it immediately upon release or forget about it. lol They are almost guarenteed  to reformulate with a year or two.

Also, as mentioned above, certain notes are being banned left and right. Try to keep up on the current list of ingredients added to the regulations list and if something you love contains that ingredient, buy back ups. I recently heard Saffron is being banned. So I'm stocking up on my favorite Saffrons as they'll likely change to a synthetic saffron or pull the note out altogether very soon.

Then again, I wonder if a cat would even approach me, since I usually wear citrus scents!   :D

Makeup Beauty Skincare / Re: Your daily skin care routine?
« on: May 23, 2018, 05:47:36 pm »
In morning I wash my face with cleanser. I am very cautious about in skin matter. I always prefer organic beauty products for the skin. Products from Kaiame Naturals are really good. From few months I am using these products and really satisfied.

I got this feeling with Memo Paris Quartier Latin Eau de Parfum that I recently tested. Smells like warm skin, delicate and it seems to be long lasting

General Discussion / Re: Do you update your love/like/dislike list?
« on: May 20, 2018, 10:16:42 pm »
Hello and welcome @cathy  :-*

I've gotten to the point where I don't rate a perfume a love/like/dislike until I'm very familiar with it; that way I don't have to worry about going back and revising anything.

General Discussion / Re: health benefits of fragrances
« on: May 20, 2018, 08:44:00 pm »
Let's see now... fragrance can

*Wake me up and energize me to face the day.

*Make me smile and feel warm & cozy on a cold or gloomy day.

*Prompt thoughts of spring in the midst of winter.

*Relax me and bring on sweet dreams when I have difficulty falling asleep.

*Instantly transport me to places and remind me of people I associate with particular scents.

If these things aren't "health benefits", then I don't know what would be!

Versace Versense+1 would make a nice change from her usual perfume.

My fave was sun&sand, which I can't get anywhere anymore. Now I really like baby powder.
