Makeup Beauty Skincare / Re: Frizzy Hair Recommendations
« on: May 21, 2018, 06:18:30 pm »
I recommend using a hydrating shampoo and conditioner. I personally have started using Living Proof Restore shampoo and conditioner and really love it. I helps hydrate my hair without leaving it with that oily feel. This helps the frizz factor. I also use Captain Blankenship Mermaid Sea Salt Spray to smooth out my hair and prevent frizz.

Jil Sander Sun  Warm sunkissed skin infused with salty sea water, powdery sand and suntan lotion vibes.

Hi Fragras  ;)

I bought the most incredible honeysuckle essential oil at a craft fair several years ago in a 2oz bottle for $5. The most incredible light scent I have ever encountered. Unfortunately I am unable to find the vendor, and have bought literal dozens of honeysuckle oils online and have yet to find the right scent. They are all overwhelmingly pungent or give me a headache.

The only two scents I have found that match the smell I am looking for:

A La Maison's Honeysuckle deodorant (which I wear religiously)

And Meyer's Honeysuckle Bar Soap.

I'm getting to a desperate point in finding a scent that smells just like these-- not too overwhelming or pungent.

When I wore my honeysuckle oil in highschool, walking through the hallways people would say "wow it smells like flowers!"

If anyone has recommendations or can point me in the right direction, please let me know!

thank you  ;D

Makeup Beauty Skincare / Re: Your daily skin care routine?

Welcome @cathy

I am addicted to the skin care.

My skin is sensitive so I always use good and natural products for skin care.

Products from www.radhabeauty.com/ are really god. I am using products from this store regularly. The products are all natural.

I agree also. I've used the Beautyblender as well as off brands and I think they are pretty much the same.

I'll go with the one she already likes for sure -- Dolce&Gabbana D&G Light Blue .

Makeup Beauty Skincare / Re: best brands for olive skin tones
« on: May 16, 2018, 06:36:34 pm »
Amy Clave Thanks, ! It does help. I'm willing to try out a couple different foundations, especially if they're inexpensive. When I find makeup that I like, I tend to stick to the same brand for years, so it's worth the time to get it right. Another thing is that I get really tan in the summer, so I always have to have 2 foundations. Usually, it's the same brand, just different shades.

Makeup Beauty Skincare / best brands for olive skin tones

Hi all and  thank you for your previous answers  :)

I have an olive-y skin tone. I tan easily. In BareMinerals, the closest I can get to my shade is Medium-Beige. Clinique is off, and there are a few others that I've tried too, over the years. The thing is, all of the brands I've tried never really perfectly match. They're always just a smidge too pink or red. It's so frustrating because in most light I can get away with it, but in natural sunlight, you can totally tell the difference! Ugh!

Can anyone relate? Are there any brands out there specifically for olive-y or skin with a yellower undertone? Or brands that include these tones? Help!

This would be like extra-added-super-bonus, but I prefer non-comedogenic products, when possible.

thanks  :P

All The BEST, and have a really lovely time out

How about one of those reed diffusers?  These are small jars or bottles of scented oil with skinny porous sticks in them that wick up the scent and diffuse it into the air.  These are a lot more subtle than candles or electric diffusers.

that is exactly what i was thinking  ;D

Makeup Beauty Skincare / Re: Toner breaks me out...

yeah my face is better of without the toner

the other day I was watchnig myself in the mirror and was like what the hell is hapening to my face

Than I stopped using the toner and my face cleared up again

I agree also with Jessica, my face becomes oily more faster when I'm using the toner...
